Comments: Vertical support plates that hold tow hooks, by four bolts deformed upward.
Inspect left front tow eye and adjoining structure.

Check the torque of all bolts attaching tow eye and surrounding structure.

During 20 degree upward pull, vertical supporting plates began to bend at 13,500 lb. Pull was to be performed at 18,420 lb. Because of the resulting deformation, the test was terminated before the maximum 18,420 lb static load could be reached.
